Posted on October 13 2017
Since we opened the doors to our new store in Hove, we've been busy filling our shelves with lots of lovely new things. Here's a wee bit about some of our new brands and new things from our existing brands...
1973 is a local stationery brand to The Wee Store, based near sunny Brighton. They have over twenty years design experience and an irrepressible passion for print and typography. Their cards are fun, bright and proving a huge hit in the store.
Petit Collage is a new toy brand, all about good design. They combine a modern aesthetic with a sustainability criteria to create bold, thoughtful goods that inspire little ones. Lovingly designed in their California studio, they strive to make their products as beautiful as they are fun to use — toys, playthings and decor that are loved by both kids and their parents.
Acorn & Will
Acorn & Will is a jewellery brand, run by the lovely Daniella, a magpie forall things vintage and retro. Daniella wanted to put together a collectionof products that are fun, affordable and eye-catching, and she has done exactly that! We couldn’t resist her enamelled pins – so retro, so cute!
Play & Go
Play & Go are synonymous with their excellent toy storage bags /playmats, but have now expanded the range into licensed products and have introduced a fantastic new Disney x Play & Go range! We are very excited to be one of the first to get our hands on these little beauties, and even more excited to introduce the new mini Play & Go. Messy rooms will be a thing of the past!
Eef Lillemor is designed by the lovely Eva, who produces the cutest little characters, which are applied to all manner of items. Check out the new postcards, sustainable bamboo dinnerware and enamel pin badges.
UK brand, Olli Ella, was founded on the idea that just because something is made for a nursery, it needn’t look out of place elsewhere. From their modern nursing chairs to their wool rugs, every piece in the Olli Ella collection is made for a child’s space, but looks fabulous in grown-up spaces too. Check out their amazing Luggy’s, Chari’s & Playpa collection here.
Meri Meri continue to produce uber desirable party ware & their latest offering is no exception. Founded by Meredithe (known as Meri Meri) in LA in 1985, the company now designs their gorgeous range in a 400 year old building in Cheltenham. See what’s new from them here…
